To that end Shasta.Com/Access Now believes that certain activities and conduct are inappropriate or abusive and will not be tolerated on Shasta.Com/Access Now’s network. This list is not meant to be exhaustive, but merely illustrative of examples of conduct deemed by Shasta.Com/Access Now to be inappropriate and improper and therefore prohibited on Shasta.Com/Access Now’s network.

Shasta.Com/Access Now’s network may only be used for lawful purposes. The transmission of material that is in violation of any federal, state or local law, or that is protected by trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property is strictly prohibited.

Customers are prohibited from using the Shasta.Com/Access Now’s network to transmit material that is judged by Shasta.Com/Access Now to be illegal, proprietary, obscene, criminal or in some fashion inconsistent with the generally accepted standards of the Internet community.

Shasta.Com/Access Now has zero tolerance for the use of its network by anyone for the distribution of unsolicited bulk commercial e-mail transmissions.

Shasta.Com/Access Now also has zero tolerance for the use of its network for the posting of messages or commercial advertisements which violate the rules, regulations, FAQ or charter of any newsgroup or mailing list. Commercial messages that are app ropriate under the rules of a newsgroup or mailing list or that are solicited by the recipients are permitted.

Anyone who publishes materials and information which are accessible through Shasta.Com/Access Now’s network is solely responsible for the content of such materials and information and is solely responsible to know and comply with all laws applicable to the publication and distribution of such materials and information. Shasta.Com/Access Now does not accept responsibility for the content of the materials and information published by others which is accessible through the Shasta.Com/Access Now network and does not accept responsibility for the violation of any laws resulting from such publication or distribution.

Shasta.Com/Access Now is an access provider and as such exercises no control over the content of the information passing through its network. It is expected that Shasta.Com/Access Now’s customers will comply with whatever rules or Acceptable Use Poli cies that are appropriate for those networks accessed through Shasta.Com/Access Now. Each Shasta.Com/Access Now customer accepts the responsibility to avoid whatever material it finds offensive. If any Shasta.Com/Access Now customer interferes with others’s use and enjoyment of the services provided by Shasta.Com/Access Now, such customer shall be deemed to be in violation of this Acceptable Use Policy.

Each customer of Shasta.Com/Access Now must ensure that its own customers do not act in a way that violates Shasta.Com/Access Now’s Acceptable Use Policy. Shasta.Com/Access Now customers are expected to bring their customers into compliance with Shasta.Com/Access Now’s Acceptable Use Policy or risk their service being discontinued.

Shasta.Com/Access Now is solely responsible for determining if a violation of the Acceptable Use Policy has occurred. Even though Shasta.Com/Access Now does not review or censor materials and information which is accessible on Shasta.Com/Access Now’s network or other networks which may be connected to Shasta.Com/Access Now’s network, if Shasta.Com/Access Now becomes aware that one of its customers is in violation of this Acceptable Use Policy, Shasta.Com/Access Now reserves the right to suspend or terminate service without notice. In addition, Shasta.Com/Access Now reserves the right to interpret this Acceptable Use Policy in its sole discretion and to amend, revise, add or delete any provision of this Acceptable Use Policy.
