Comments: The YMCA is once again partnering with the Shasta Women’s Refuge to hold its 3rd Annual Dancing with the Stars - Shasta County Style on Saturday, July 11th at the Cascade Theatre. This exciting evening of dance will be packed full of “Star† dance performances and the audience will have a chance to vote for their favorite performer to walk away as Champion of the show. This year’s “stars”  include: Anderson City Councilwoman Melissa Hunt, Jeff Avery with State Farm Insurance, Michelle Martin Streeby with the Record Searchlight, Mike Krueger with KRCR Channel 7, Yvonne Mazzotta with Enjoy Magazine, and Shasta County District Attorney Jerry Benito. Also enjoy a return appearance by last year’s champion, Tracy Edwards with Redding Rancheria, as well as Chita Johnson from KRCR Channel 7 and Don Burton from Redding Radio. Enjoy an evening of dance as our local stars light up the dance floor to win your hearts and your votes all in support of our youth.
